Scott’s service to the mining, manufacturing and construction sectors began as the owner-operator of a fabrication and crane business in NSW.
His industry experience spans three decades and includes 15 years working hands-on with qualifications as a boilermaker and crane driver.
Moving from NSW to the warmer climate of Queensland in 1996, Scott gained employment in the labour hire industry and hit the ground running, building a client base around Gladstone and Rockhampton with one of the major labour hire providers of the time.
Being a proactive entrepreneur with a sharp business acumen and relentless drive to do things better, Scott started his own labour hire business known as CHAMP Resources, hand-picking an experienced team of professionals to operate and grow with his business.
Having experienced both sides of the labour hire equation, Scott’s goal is to ensure both his clients and workforce receive the best possible service.
For Scott, this means open and ongoing communication with clients and employees, investing in cutting-edge technology and systems, to manage the resource channel, having a solid knowledge of business-to-business relationships, and training his team and workforce to remain at the forefront of the industry.
When he’s not finding ways to further improve his business operations, you’ll find Scott fishing, watching the footy and spending time with his grandchildren.
“If we need to make it happen, let’s just get in and do it!”
